The Annual Hedge Fund Industry Awards in which the Princes Gate Group was nominated for The "Emerging Manager of the Year" award took place yesterday in New York. We will, unfortunately, not be taking the ceremonial statue home with us this year, however, it was quite exciting to discover that a small wealth manager like ourselves could gather so much interest and recognition from fellow distinguished peers and specialized press. Another year, another challenge: 2008 was a good year for our strategies but 2009 already started to look very promising. We will continue to endeavor to our best capabilities with the aim to reward our Investors confidence in us and who knows, maybe we will take the 2010 award home this time.

We have the pleasure to announce that the Princes Gate Group has been nominated for the "Emerging Manager of the Year" award. This distinguished prize will be conferred at the Annual Hedge Fund Industry Awards that will take place in New York on June 22nd 2009.
The "Emerging Manager of the Year" award recognizes an up-and-coming fund that is not a household name but that people are excited about. The manager will have generated quiet buzz among his or her investors, but not only for performance reasons.

Susanna Cucciarelli joined our Group today in order to reinforce our Quantitative Modeling team and allow it to develop and implement further management models.
Susanna will be responsible for the technical analysis of financial markets, the development and testing of quantitative models and trading strategies, and for the validation of asset allocation and money management techniques. She will also report on model performances and provide quantitative analysis in close contact with Paolo Faldini, the Founder and Portfolio Manager.
She previously worked as a quantitative analyst and manager of the financial research group at SGFC in Nyon (Switzerland). Susanna has a PhD in Particle Physics and benefits of several years of experience as data analyst at CERN in Geneva.
